A simplistic way of explaining what psychotherapy means is …. “the talking cure”. Yes it is as easy as that. By talking through your situation with an objective person your emotional and logical conflicts can be found and worked through.

We often hear people saying ….“my heart ruled my head, I regret that now”. However, by satisfying both the emotional and logical sides of our nature we can effectively “have what we want” and enjoy the real pleasure of inner peace.

When we understand why we are behaving in a certain way we can then decide to change and a more beneficial outcome being the result.

The emotion people express to me on a regular basis is “GUILT”, clients often disclose that they feel they are unable to live their lives in the way they prefer due to this underlying issue. However, when these feelings are worked through and resolved, a wonderful sense of freedom is experienced.
